- סִיפּוּג, סִפּ׳m. (סָפַג) absorption, drying after a bath. Zab. I, 4 כדי טבילה וס׳ (not וסיפג) long enough to bathe and dry ones self; Tosef. ib. I, 9 (not סופג); 12, sq.; a. e.Pl. סִיפּוּגִים, סִיפּוּגִין, סִפּ׳. Zab. I, 5 שתי טבילות ושני ס׳ as much time as is required for twice bathing and getting dry. Tosef. ib. I, 10 סיפגים (corr. acc.).
